Mairi Gillies

Mairi is a lifelong educator and textile artist with a passion for creating cozy, welcoming crafting communities. Over the past five years, she has worked as a creative workshop teacher, specialising in textile crafts through freelance design, university tutoring, and outreach sessions with schools.

Known for her warm, fun, and encouraging teaching style, Mairi believes that true creative growth happens when learners feel safe to play and explore. She sees her role as a supportive 'guide' rather than a traditional instructor, ready to help you bring your own individual crafting vision to life!

There is no upper age limit for our workshops. Most workshops are suited to +16, however we can accommodate younger guests for some of our workshops. Please drop us an email to discuss!
